This AIM Calculator program for e-gold e-metal is for trading (swapping) the precious metals (PMs) gold, silver, platinum, and palladium through the e-gold and OmniPay companies.  Transactions in small amounts -- fractional ounces -- are easily and affordably done through e-gold and its associated company, OmniPay.  The Buy-Sell spreads are reasonable, and the commission (transaction fees) on what bought in a swap are minor.

As contrasted with conventional trading programs, the AIM method has you buy and sell (relatively) small amounts within your Core Position as the price ratios change.  It is not an "all or nothing" method that requires you to have a cystal ball, as all the "all or nothing" methods do.

The AIM Calculator program is designed to take advantage of price fluctuations in the precious metals, and more specifically, in fluctuations of the price ratio between pairs of precious metals.  The program is designed to facilitate your trading of gold vs. silver, gold vs. platinum, and gold vs. palladium, using e-gold holding accounts.

Using the AIM Calculator program, you can enter the Bid-Ask prices of a pair of metals you are interested in. Those prices, and the current AIM parameters unique to your account, determine how much of one metal, if any, you should swap for the other metal.

The AIM Calculator program is an easy-to-use implementation of the "Automatic Investment Management" (AIM) concept developed by Robert Lichello in his best-selling book How to Make $1,000,000 in the Stock Market Automatically! For e-gold e-metal trading, the concept has been adapted to handling the effect of the Bid-Ask spreads of two metals, rather than just the "price" of a stock or ETF as specified by a limit order or what you get with a market order. AIM is perhaps the most popular and well-known Core Position Trading method, used by traders in over 60 countries.

The AIM Calculator program also includes the effect of the commission (transfer fee) on what bought in the swap, though that is very small, generally less than $1.00, even if several (gold equivalent) ounces are involved.

The AIM Calculator program provides a summary of a proposed swap, if any, on the main screen.  A detailed calculation may also be done and viewed and printed out, if desired.  The detailed calculation shows all the AIM intermediate calculation numbers, for your information. And, most importantly, it shows the numbers as you need them for entering your swap order (called a Metal-to-Metal -- M2M -- Exchange) with OmniPay.
