OASIS -- New International Organization Promotes Financial Privacy

Los Angeles, 2000 September 08 (OASISNA) -- OASIS, The World Organization of Associated Sovereign Independent States, is committed to financial privacy for individuals world wide.

OASIS was founded in response to OECD/FATF attacks on so-called financial/tax havens.  OECD threatens economic and financial ruin, and political chaos, for those "recalcitrant" mini-states which do not surrender to OECD demands for more "transparency" in financial transactions.   (Read, the "Big-Brother" OECD nations want the ability to look over everyones' shoulders, worldwide, not just in their own countries.)

The OASIS response is twofold:

• Defensively, to investigate and implement mutual aid of various kinds, and to minimize financial contact and transactions with and through hostile OECD and other nations by dealing more directly with each other.
• Offensively, to expand the variety, reliability, and speed of their services and enabling technologies, such as communications, encryption, varied and secure purchase/payment methods, banking, investment brokering, etc.   Secondly, the aim is to dramatically increase the awareness and availability of their services to the financially oppressed productive classes of high-tax, high-control nations typified by the OECD nations.

OASIS is committed to the principles of political and economic freedom worldwide, the free flow of persons and capital worldwide, and reducing the political and economic power and control of the large nation-states over the smaller nation-states and individuals worldwide.
