It is imperative that the small nation states providing "money haven", "tax haven" and other business and financial services unite in their common interests. Attacks by the OECD nations are increasing both in frequency and in magnitude weekly. The viability, sovereignty, and independence of your small nation states is in the balance. The World Organization of Associated Sovereign Independent States -- World-OASIS -- is conceived of as an international organization dedicated to the advancement and continued independence and viability of the small independent nation states under financial and economic attack by the large nation states such as the U.S., the U.K., France, Germany, etc., under the guise of "the war on terrorism", "the war on drugs", "money laundering" and other "financial crimes". OASIS is committed to the principles of political and economic freedom worldwide, the free flow of persons and capital worldwide, and reducing the political and economic power and control of the large nation-states over the smaller nation-states and individuals worldwide. The OASIS vision is to play a vital role in the world. With your interest, support, and participation, that role will be realised. Action to organize and formally establish OASIS as a truly multi-national intergovernmental organization is immediately required. I propose an organizational meeting, such as that in Baghdad in September of 1960, which created OPEC, to formally establish OASIS. As time is of the essence, I think a target date of November or December of 2000 should be aimed for, if at all possible, or by the first couple of months of 2001 at the latest. I am prepared to organize such a meeting, provided I obtain the required financial and other support from interested countries. And the sooner I start receiving such support, the sooner the meeting can be held. Update 2001-08-07: Obviously the organizational meeting has not happened yet. Major tax havens have caved. Others are wavering. If you know of any so-called "leaders" in these countries, or if you know people who may know them, I need contact information immediately. What are you waiting for?
